Booking Your Driving Test & Theory Test

The easiest way to book driving or theory test is on the DSA website. On this website you can check driving test times, and also rearrange your current test if needed. You could also phone the DSA on 0300 200 1122, or contact them by post (you can download the relevant form here).
At the bottom of this page I've also listed the addresses for the local theory test and driving test centres.

Short Notice Driving Tests & Driving Test Cancellations

If you are looking to book a short notice or cancellation driving test, unfortunately there is no shortcut. The best way is to book a test for the earliest date you can get, then keep phoning up or checking on the website to see if an earlier test date turns up.

If you have already booked your test and for whatever reason need a car to use for your driving test, this can also be arranged.

However, there is one condition. We have a 1 hour assessment driving lesson before the driving instructor agrees to take you to the test. The reason for this is that by taking the driving test in one of our driving school cars, we are saying to the examiner that you are ready to take your test. If after the 1 hour driving lesson, your instructor is not entirely satisfied with your driving, they might not allow you to use the car, if there is not enough time to correct any errors you might have.
